With Apologies to James Joyce

Remember remember the filth of November

Denial, lawsuits and rot.

I will dare to question

Why this worst of all elections

Should ever be forgot.

The Developer, The Developer, though he came up short

Took his certainty of winning all the way to the Supreme Court.

The House, the legislatures, the lackeys and the pseudo-friends

Divided distracted America saw her democracy come to an end

By the high court’s decision he was declared the winner

With his hit list intact he devoured his enemies for dinner

Proud Boys, Boogaloo Bois, let the phones announcing a dictatorship ring

Fascist joys, Orwellian joys

Reality control saves the U.S.’s first King!
