Socratic Seminar: Brave New World

The semester ended yesterday. My seniors held a Socratic Seminar on the novel Brave New World, which most of them read!

As students discuss, I write notes, questions, observations, etc. that come to mind on the whiteboard. Below are photos I took of that whiteboard, before erasing it.

And to prove there exists in high school English classes a work of literature where NO ONE actually dies, we’ll finish off the school year with The Importance of Being Earnest!
